How much have we lost. How much time just passes by. We waste away searching for the answers that have been with us all along.
A war has been waged. With our minds. Technological advancements. Leading to a regression of ourselves.
A tool made to make life easier is taking over our lives. Imagination is falling to the wayside. Social skills no longer exist. I am scared for the future and what will become of it. Are we aware of what is happening all around us? I never thought we would end up like this.
Mind control.
Starting at the tips of our hands. While human interaction dissipates. I want to live in the here and now. Disconnected from all that tie us down.
It's time to reclaim what is ours.
Images projecting what's right and wrong. Telling us what to think and do. Making it seem like we cant spend a day apart. We need to realize that the progression of making life a bit simpler is creating less intelligent, less observant and less creative individuals.
Goodbye basic chivalry. Goodbye emotions. Think of all that we could accomplish if we would just break free from all that is holding us back.

of poverty with no escape.

step closer to the grave.
The sounds of bottle breaking and clips unloading with prostitute waiting and dealers doping.
The product of a broken family.
No one ever asks for this.
Raised by gangs to ensure survival.
It's kill or be killed and no ones asking to die.
At least not today.

Beaten down by life.
Fourteen years old.
With a back against the wall.
It's ten on four and death is creeping in.
You see your chance as the knife cuts deep.
You made it through today.
Only a child and doing hard time.
You may be safe from the streets
but now there's nowhere left to hide (on the inside)
You clear your head and you find a book.
You change the way that you view life.
It's painful at first
